The Java Teleconference Applet can be loaded in one of two states - docked mode or float mode. Float mode may also be referred to as "undocked" mode.
Basically, when the applet is docked, it is loaded within the browser. When in "docked" mode, pull-down menus are not available. When it's undocked, it is loaded as a top-level window (separate from the browser window ), and pull-down menus are available.
